4th Grade

Grade Level Vision:

As the last year in elementary school, our forth grades get practice as independant innovators.  They are given complex, open-ended challenges that let them use their knowledge to inform their decisions.  They will put their design knowledge, data literacy, and knowledge of their available resources to determine the best solution.  They will also be practicing their skills in collaboration and teamwork as we work together with DES and OFE's innovations classrooms on collaboartive challenges.  They will gain skills in digital communication and working on a team with students that they will soon be with in school as they enter their fifth grade year at the middle school.
