1.3 Knowledge Constructor:

Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.

Examples in the classroom include:

Students will participate in activities like sorting, classifying, and identifying traits of different items in Kindergarten to start organizing materials. These skills will aid later when dertermining the best tools to use for different challenges. They will continuously be building on the knowledge and experience with different sources and tools and will begin to organize these in a digital document to use as a resoure. This resource will travel with them each year so that by the end of 4th grade, they will have built up a reliable resource document that will aid them in their design and production.
