"Where little learners discover big ideas!" #TinyTechiesInTraining
Examples in the classroom include:
It is very important in our Innovations classroom for students to take an active role in their learning. This will take so many different shapes. You will see it as students are given a goal, but are then able to choose the materials they use in order to accomplish it. What will they use to build the tallest tower? Can they accomplish it using q-tips or do they have the perfect idea that involves tissue paper and dominos? It can also be see by students choosing whether to create a model of a zoo using legos or digitally in TinkerCad. Students learning the tools available in order to determine what works best for them to showcase their knowledge empowers them to use their creativity.
