1.7 Global Collaborator:

Students use digital tools to broaden their perspectives and enrich their learning by collaborating with others and working effectively in teams locally and globally.

Examples in the classroom include:

In early elementary, we will be practicing teamwork and collaboration skills through projects and challenges. As the students move in grade levels, this will grow into the use of digital tools for collaboration. Then by their upper elementary grades, we will be working to collaborate with classrooms in Discovery Elementary and Orchard Farm Elementary, as well as other classrooms in the area. This can be completed through different challenges, or collaborative moments. This involves providing and receiving productive feedback on projects that we share with other classrooms. It would also look like sharing digital projects and working together to complete them.
